We are thrilled to share the news of the opening of the new library near the San Pedro school. This milestone marks a significant achievement in our commitment to SDG 4, promoting inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
While the library’s shelves are not yet filled, we eagerly await the arrival of books, thanks to the heartfelt contributions from our head office colleagues who organized a successful book drive. The boxes of reading materials are currently in transit to their new home in San Pedro. Their efforts will soon ensure that the library is stocked with a wide array of stories and educational materials.
A heartfelt thanks to all the generous donors who have helped create an inviting space for everyone to enjoy. Special appreciation goes to Nowata for equipping the library with bookshelves, Rev Services for assisting with air conditioning, Nymtrade for donating a computer, DS Logistique for providing protective security grids, and Jonmoore CI and Kaeylee for helping stock the library with books. This library is more than just a building; it’s a vibrant hub of learning and community engagement.
