Sadly, one of our employees passed away in the past year. Our sustainability team in Zambia brainstormed to find a long-term income solution for the widow and her children. Thanks to the lessons learned from building the teacher houses, an idea came to mind. With the insurance money, we purchased and renovated a home and handed over the home in March 2023. This house will guarantee the family a monthly rental income and allow for the payment of her children’s school fees .
