Carmeuse Ghana (CLP) organized an information session around HIV/AIDS on 23 February with the Sofokrom community. We targeted final-year students as well as people from the district and are happy that a total of 200 people attended. The program’s facilitator, Dr. Sutherland, discussed symptoms, prevention, and the importance of knowing your HIV/AIDS status. Most participants were shy initially, but opening up the dialogue about this topic is essential. Talking about it ensures that everyone can make healthy choices about sex.
