In line with our identified actions under SDG 3, on 6 July 2022, Carmeuse Lime Products (CLP) Ghana invited the members of the Sofokrom Community to participate in a sensibilisation campaign around prostate and cervical cancer.
On this day, 100 participants showed up and they enjoyed an educational day led by a Medical Director. This Doctor educated the participants on the causes and symptoms of both diseases, both also on how to treat the diseases if a diagnosis is made.
The members of the community appreciated the information received, and they are looking forward to the next session in 2023.
