Once again, Carmeuse Côte d’Ivoire is the proud sponsor of the National Excellence Day. This year’s event occurred on Saturday, 29 July, in San Pedro. The day celebrates students who performed exceptionally, and not only schoolteachers and parents are present to honour them, but also VIPs of the region, such as the mayor of San Pedro, the vice-president of San Pedro University, a representative of the port authority of San Pedro and many more.
This year, Carmeuse Côte d’Ivoire gifted laptops to the best-performing young lady and gentleman of all baccalaureate categories, as well as to the young lady who will represent Côte d’Ivoire at the International Dictation Contest in Canada. Furthermore, we distributed 280 vouchers for school equipment amongst the best students from the different classes.
