In a commendable effort, the Senegal sustainability team, in collaboration with the Bandia elementary school management, organized an awareness-raising session focusing on safety during the journey to school. Many children walk to school, individually or in groups, and our team gave them a few tips. The emphasis was on vigilance, and children were advised against being walked to school by strangers, or hitchhiking, and so on.
We are actively preparing more sessions with the school, and our goal is to expand this valuable initiative to other CMO locations soon.
