Carmeuse Overseas has been servicing our clients (mainly gold mines) in Côte d’Ivoire from our plant in Ghana for many years. Although we mastered the logistics of this operation, we were often presented with challenges at the border crossing, which compromised our just-in-time deliveries to our partners.
To mitigate these challenges and enlarge our regional footprint, Carmeuse Overseas took the decision in 2019 to formalize a presence in Côte d’Ivoire with a warehouse located in San Pedro.
We can store 7000mt of Quicklime and/or Hydrated lime, which is delivered directly from the port of San Pedro in big bags to the 3000m² warehouse.
Expansion plans for Carmeuse Côte d’Ivoire include a terminal that can store and produce local specialized solutions such as Terracalco, therefore a plot of approx. 2 hectares has already been acquired for this purpose.
Carmeuse lime solutions for mining, water treatment, agriculture, soil stabilization and asphalt roads and much more, are now readily available in Côte d’Ivoire.
